The CCI Tree of Life campaign obtained more than 3.300 handprints!

This initiative was part of CCI’s and SIOP’s campaign for International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD), held on the 15 th of February every year.

Our three year Tree of Life campaign received more than 3. 300 handprints and ‘Messages of Hope’ from the global childhood cancer community. Check-out all the handprints and messages from around the world at www.ICCD.care

In 2023, we focused on and paid tribute to the positive impact made by parents, families and caregivers on the lives of children and adolescents with cancer. As our hashtag stated - we strongly believe that better survival is achievable #throughTHEIRhands.

This year, near to 1.000 new handprints from around the world were created. This added to the over 800 prints from 2022, and the over 1.500 from 2021. We had participation from CCI members and friends from more than 100 countries, joining worldwide efforts to celebrate the International Childhood Cancer Day and to bring attention to this cause.
